Venus is breathing life into her passion to serve women during and after pregnancy by opening Dragonfly Birth Belly.  Venus holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration with over a decade of experience in community outreach and education. Now she is melding her passion for educating women about their birthing rights and joining the movement as both a Sacred Pregnancy Instructor and Postpartum Doula.

 

As a native Iowan and the second oldest of six girls, Venus grew up with a strong sense of community and a belief that she can make a positive difference in others lives. It was after the birth of her second child that Venus realized she needed to be part of the birth community and partner to provide women with the information and validation that would allow expectant mothers to trust themselves during birth and motherhood.

 

Venus lives in Des Moines with her husband and incredible young children. She is thrilled to invite you into the circle of sisterhood and hold space for you during your journey.

 

**Venus is also a Certified Sacred Pregnancy Instructor.
