Janet discovered at a very young age that she had a special gift. The gift of spirit and mediumship. Janet grew up having exposure to spirit and understanding the spiritual ways of living. Experiencing first hand the unexplainable. Janet have an easy going, loving, down to earth, earthy wholesome personality with a calming, compassionate energy. Janet’s true passion is helping those in need whatever that need may consist of. Janet has over eleven years of experience working in the field of addiction, mental health, life coaching and counselling. Throughout the trials of working in that field, Janet has discovered her deepest desire of the natural methods of healing those in need. Over the years Janet has studied ways for people to take back their own power and help them to help themselves from spiritual aspect and the soul. Janet offers empowerment workshops, meditation to calm the mind and soothe the soul. Janet is a certified Reiki Practitioner, and a Spiritual Healer certified by the Divine Light Learning Centre. Janet is also a doula giving those expecting mothers options for a natural and spiritual pregnancy. Educating them and their partners on wholesome and natural journeys of the pregnancy. Teaching them options of a purely natural and spiritual birthing process, being there to support them throughout this sacred journey. There is no more of a special moment in our lives than the gift of a life. Janet also is a photographer who offers her services in capturing these moments. Her love of photography started when she was only 15, and since then has blossomed over the years. Janet has her own company GrassRoots Photography by Janet Fotheringham where she covers breast feeding, births, newborn, weddings, family any of those special occasions. Janet’s style of photography is “for the moment shots”.
